Icon delivers 62.5-meter superyacht "Maidelle"​

Dutch superyacht builder Icon Yachts handed over their latest yacht just before the end of the year. "Maidelle" is the third superyacht from Icon and according to the general manager, Jen Wartena, Maidelle is by far the best boat out of the three-yacht series benefitting from the lessons learned on the builds of "Icon" and "Baton Rouge".

The exterior of Maidelle was designed by the UK design firm of Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD). Her sophisticated interior has lept off the design pages and into reality thanks to Cristiano Gatto. Her accommodation arrangement is set out twelve guests in six cabins. The master stateroom is located forward on the main deck while the VIP is on the upper deck. The other four cabins are on the lower deck.

The latest 'Icon' has now been delivered to her owner but to get her there, Maidelle was tested and won. She encountered heavy seas and then was dumped by snow on her delivery to Norway. Captain Donald Heath states "I am very pleased with the performance of the Maidelle, especially from an engineering perspective. The boat is very easy to handle and sails perfectly." Finally, she is cruising around now and at last check she was underway for Spain.
