CRN signs Letter-of-Intent for 68-meter superyacht for Chinese client

Italian yard CRN maybe close to fully signing contract for a 68-meter superyacht. That is because they recently signed a Letter-of-Intent (LOI) with a Chinese client for the said 68-meter displacement yacht. If the LOI moves forward into a fully-signed contract, the 68-meter superyacht will represent the largest superyacht signed to a client from China by CRN.

The LOI for this yacht was signed in Weifang on the 14th of January. ‘The signing of our first LOI for 2014 with a Chinese client is not only something to take pride in, but also a true witness to the strategic path we have embarked on,’ comments Lamberto Tacoli, chairman and CEO of CRN. ‘The conquest of new markets, and above all that of the Asia-Pacific basin, is indeed a short-term fundamental objective for the brand, which will be pursued as we continue to invest in our assets: design, innovation, craftsmanship and the Made in Italy brand.’

One of the special features to be found aboard this custom 68-meter superyacht, is a floodable tender garage. This feature was first showcased by CRN at the Monaco Yacht Show on the 60-meter "J’Ade". Delivery of the 68-meter is expected to be in 2017 once the full contract is signed. The design lines are by Zuccon International Project.
