Actually it's lots of Yen, Euros and Rubles.

?The United States imported about 9.10 MMb/d of petroleum in 2019 from about 90 countries, which included 6.8 MMb/d of crude oil and 2.3 MMb/d of noncrude petroleum liquids and refined petroleum products. This was the lowest level of total petroleum imports since 1996." "Energy independence is highly concerned with oil, the source of the country's principal transport fuels. In total energy consumption, the US was between 86% and 91% self-sufficient in 2016. In May 2011, the country became a net exporter of refined petroleum products."

Up a tick to 1.84 this week. I'm wondering, though, if the NY has quietly added a new tax to help raise revenue they waste. I'll have to do a check on the invoice detail when the bill is paid...

If only it were that easy for politicians to raise taxes they'd be smiling more. They're pretty well set annually by the legislators. Prices have been fluctuating quite a bit for the past couple of months though, generally within about $0.25 per gal. I think it has more to do with them selling much less the past few months due to travel restrictions and the upcoming holiday being their last hoorah for the boater's bucks.

Considering Lord Cuomo controls the legislature in NY, I wouldn't put it past him. His revenue is in the toilet because he's too determined to hurt his local economy to help win in November. It'll shake out. I'll see the paperwork. I took a double take when the truck quoted me the additional 20 cents for morning. Can't be demand. They moved the deliver from late today to early morning so they didn't have to hold their driver over after lunch just to top me. Taking around 1500, so it isn't about quantity.

Now, now. Don't be so sensitive. What I do in NY is my own business as is where I live. Fun part is I'm likely more NY than you and your screen name as you sit on the Jersey wharf.

You're more dumb than you even pretend to be you Russian Troll and traitor. Stay off politics, and especially NY politics. Our country is on the verge of civil war and you evidently consider it a game. I will be as sensitive as I want to be. Delete your political posts or I'll turn it and every thread on YF pure politics. Then we can have every thread locked and stripped making YF useless. Is that your goal?

Do your best to be civil. I simply noted here that the price jumped 20 cents with the same truck in the same delivery location in a short span of time. I suggested a tax might have been added, increased, as this happened in many states when gas prices dropped from $4 down to $2 several years ago. It's not an outrageous event to see occur. I'll know tomorrow when I review the ticket.

I won't be civil and I won't be refrained if anyone wants to turn YF into an extension of Traitor Trump and Russia's media campaign. You want to discuss fuel prices fine. I don't care if the governor of any state wants to add an illegal tax that goes directly into their own pocket. That has no place on YF.

Paid $3.39 at Bootleggers Cove in Wilson, NY on the 9th and $3.19 at Brewerton on the 10th on my way from Ohio to Miami. Found it for $2.04 at Annapolis City Marina a few days later. Just bought it off a truck in Ohio yesterday for $1.89, but was getting it for $1.51 back in early July. Regardless, it's a great time to be running and putting lots of hours on the mains.
