I'm in on the YF restoration. I'd be willing to donate money and/or time towards this.

You might even get some sponsors on board to help defer costs. Perhaps even Mr. Buffet himself would be willing to do a benefit concert. Hold it at the Miami Marine Stadium with the Muffin floating there on display.

As a floating office it might be quite funny if you add a ponton to sit outside...

Uh, she has a cockpit, look up front with all them windows:)

As far as an aft deck where Carl will mix 'Ritas for the YF Members, completely agree, and get some shade back there so the bikini girls won't get sunburned
    Thx Carl, you da Man..:D

Ok, I'll help, got a Flight Engineers ticket as well as a Boat Captains ticket and the thing is docked 5 mins from my house, perhaps I could do something useful if needed...

We all know that floating fuselage is worth less than the scrap a yard would pay for the metal, but it's worth the world to whoever owns it. Howard Hughes would roll over in his grave if he saw the asking price 10 years ago and I'm pretty sure the work to restore it would put me one foot into the grave. While it certainly is the ultimate Boeing billboard, it wouldn't be an enjoyable promotional vessel for YF members to cruise on. We'd be better off chartering a boat when we have a group of members in town.

The president of the Winterfest Boat Parade, Lisa Scott-Founds, recently asked me to bolt on some night blades and fly one of my helicopters during the 2015 event. I haven't accepted yet because time is working against me this year, but it would be a lot of fun to get a group of members together for the Winterfest Parade. I'd be more inclined to charter a barge with a bar and large flight operations deck...

Good idea, let's rent a boat for any gatherings.
For small groups I got the Duffy River Rat.
8 people including the skipper as per the CG label.
    Lost of storage for beverages.
    No charge.
    Say when.
