How many persons onboard to cook for?

Are you looking for a seasoned 5 star level chef or are you looking for a cook to prepare basic meals? How much help will they have in the galley in putting plates together?

Sure short notice, but depending on your needs, there may be some possibilities outside the experienced yacht chef group. With someone needing to travel, I'd advise if you need an experienced yacht chef to immediately call a crew agency. You don't have time to look.

If you can settle for less experience, I'd suggest contacting the International Culinary Institute at the Art Institutes or Miami Culinary Institute at Miami Dade College. They may have recent graduates available.

You're set for Saturday and you haven't even provisioned. I assume you had a no show chef. I'd plan on catering the first day at least.

I'd try the Culinary schools then. That's where we've gone for chefs for homes and for additional help when needed.

Thomas. If I recall, you're the boat owner. May I ask why your captain isn't searching for crew?

Team work. That's great. Sorry for the questioning tone, but I had to ask.
Sorry, but I'm not aware of anyone right now. There are several boats looking too.

Oregon and Washington just closed down all the restaurants to inside dining. Surely this laid off a bunch of folks unfortunately. Might try some quick social media outreach to those areas to see if you can find someone. It's only a plane ride away.
