    Thanks folks. Its been a long hard road on many levels to get there. Im now back at work on a refit in Holland and already counting the days until I finish my rotation and get to use her!

    My next leave will also involve a trip to the midwest to check on her straight eight Packards that are being rebuilt :)

    You know you have something special when a senior member of the De Vries family tells you he has boat envy :)

    If you follow the two links there are tons of pictures. One link is of the finished product and her story. The other is a full set of photos of the restoration.

    If you will upload a sampling of pics to a new thread on YF titled "1949 Luders Commuter Restoration", we may place this on the front page of YF, which would be seen by a lot more readers. If you upload a good number of pics (before, during and after restoration), along with details on each pic, it will be permanently archived on YF and I should be able to index it well in Google, which will put a lot more eyeballs on the build.

    Sorry, but we don't redirect traffic to external links, especially FB.
