    I wish I was on my boat. Out here in Cali finishing up some business but plan to be on the boat by Sun.

    That CAPAC comment does seem strange. He may be lucky that there is no elec current in his water.

    There's a Chris '74 in Dania Beach, FL that I suspect is Derektor-designed. She's is awful shape and her bottom needs a re-plate quoted at $55k.
    She was used as a tour/party/dinner boat and all the staterooms have been used for storage.
    This is a handsome boat and someone with money will get a legacy yacht that will be gorgeous.

    Pay close attention to hull thickness. Your weak spots will be located at water and black tanks. Under engine beds you'll have a clean visual of metal quality both inside as well as under the boat. Use that as your barometer for overall plating consistency.
