Changing from Canvas to Glass windshield

    They're making such fantastic polycarbonate products these days. Trimmed out with Stamoid, attached with zippers and channel (no snaps or turnbuckles) creating a truly enclosed space. The result is a light weight, distortion free, weather tight rigid enclosure that can be styled to fit the look of the boat.

    I may have misunderstood your intended design but if you are attaching safety glass between the flybridge and the tower/top you are going to have a flexing problem which will not be compatable with glass.

    This was not noticable from the surrounding strataglass. It was a thin maybe 1/8" thick piece of glass, surrounded by stamoid just like the others and had a small wiper motor/ windshield wiper on it.

    Unzip a little or alot depending on weather and temperatures.
    In the summer the middle one is always up for a nice breeze in the Captain's face.
