Same here, just that mails still go straight to the bin (gmail). The additional step is necessary, otherwise it would be way too easy to reset passwords for someone else.
Are you running G Mail straight in a browser or do you have a client setup to run it? I ask this as if running with a mail client you can set filters and rules which should enable you to steer e mails to a variety of locations based on the addys when arriving, I don't think this can be done in the browser.
I use the web interface for that address. (Used for site registrations only.) You can add pretty much the same filters as in a local client, including rules that prevent mails form getting marked as spam. Which I so far did not. After editing the existing YF filter rule to skip the spam detection mails are no longer filtered out. Now they gets marked as "Not moved to spam because of your own filter rule." Previously the reason was "Similarity to suspicious messages"
