unknown italian yacht I found a flipflop painted yacht, shown at Salone Nautico Genova 2009, and want to know, who did this? Here are pics: http://federikabontempi.blog.deejay.it/2007/10/08/47-esimo-salone-nautico-di-genova-parte-1/ Thanks for help, Ernst
Sorry for the hijack, but can someone tell me what that is on the sternlines? DK if it's supposed to block rats or soften the the spring or if it's just something to keep people from walking off the side.
I believe as the "Ultima III" she flew St. Johns, Antigua from her stern. As the "Diamond A" presently...she is flagged in Cayman Islands to the best of my knowledge.
Another thing in ID-ing her is that as the "Ultima III" she had her sat/com domes at the base of the mast. One on either side (port and starboard). There was also one on the forward part of the mast right over the radar sets. As "Diamond A" those were all removed and she now has two domes up to the top of the mast on either side. Although in her latter stages as Ultima III those domes were on top the mast as well so probably prior to sale.
Similar to Roberto Cavalli's Baglietto # 10185 "RC"... but not However, Mr. Cavalli may have had influence in this vessel's design.
Marine Traffic agrees with that. Ex Names History Vessel's Name Flag Call Sign Last Reported DIAMOND A Cayman Is ZCYF7 2011-01-13 23:08 ULTIMA III Antigua Barbuda V2YT4 2008-11-05 18:58 Although in 2009 as ULTIMA III she was sporting George Town on the stern. http://photos2.marinetraffic.com/ais/showphoto.aspx?photoid=137967&size=full
gold yacht Saw this on holiday last week in Fort Lauderdale. It looked even better in the flesh. Any ideas on what it is.
cheers Thanks for that. I guess from the article it must be one of the first 2. Any idea whose it is. Apparently the water taxi staff have tried to find out but the staff are very tight lipped.
We respect the owners privacy and do not discuss ownership here, unless it is not already published and widely known.
Believe they ad spring to the stern lines when moored stern too med style. Possible help control movement of yacht when surges from swell or storm entre marina (as use to happen in Monaco before new break water)
This may prove a formidable challenge: Anyone have a – Year, Builder, Model, Name… and Location? Photo dates to circa 2008.
