I know two older ladies who did and I saw the invoices and heard the tapes. I then researched and found out how many people had done it. I also talked to them personally about it. They refused most of the call to tell what the shipping and handling or total was. It was clear they had the ladies confused. One even said she wasn't thinking well that day because of her meds. She didn't know even at the end that she'd actually agreed to it all. The other just got exhausted and gave in. The salesmen were still trying to talk them into more. Yes, they post positive replies but you'll find literally thousands of complaints and they'll run two ways. First toward the product and second about how much they ended up paying. $250 was the total including the shipping and handling. They want to keep talking about the three easy payments but the two women I'm referring to chose one payment. One of them was a 30 minute phone call of pressure and not answering and more pressure. The other was only 15 minutes or so but exact same script. So on my part, this is actual knowledge, confirmed by invoices, tapes and phone calls.

I don't doubt you Olderboater, I get **** mad at the manner this modern folks have adopted to telemarket their things. And I get tired of this CONSTANT marketing of items,...even when I'm at a gas pump these jerks have got to put a screen in front of me trying to sell me something else :mad:

Well, in this case they took advantage of elderly women living on fixed incomes. These are the ones most subject to telemarketing abuse. They don't want to be rude so won't hang up. They'll answer questions they shouldn't. And they will agree without realizing they've done so.
