    Some more

1.-2.) Bartender, the shadow boat of this nice sail boat, which is mounted on top of this very large keel.

3.-4.) I have seen several videos about this crazy toy, but never saw one in reality.

    One more beauty

I thought, I might take the risk of getting banned for posting this beauty. One italian GRP former go fast boat. I said former go fast, because this boat has so much growth on its underwater body, you could most likely feed a whole platoon for weeks on it. And then this hull colour (reminds me on ....), not polished probably for a decade. If I were the owner of this boat, I would donate it to the navy as an artillery target, for sending it ASAP to the bottom of the sea.

    And more

I like those classics. Tatasu, a 1994 Feadship, 155 ft. Still going strong. A well kept boat.

Well maybe the props won't turn... ! Use it or eventually it becomes part of the pier or a reef and a write off.

Off course there is this solution...

    Palma Harbour

I promised some pictures from Palma harbour. Here is the first set. For identification of those boats, I need the help of our members.

A large sportfish, IMO a rare sight in the Med. And one boat with no name on it

Sorry, if I mix some beauties under these pictures (a boat is a boat). It is not easy to get a large sailboat completely. Masts nowadays are pretty high. Eminence is an imposing ship. I did not know, that the stern door of Leander is only hiding the rear anker.

The large sail yacht is "Aglaia" built for/by Dutch yard Vitters. Yes the sportfisher looks to be "Marlena". Actually the hidden stern anchor is to my surprise as well. I've never seen it until your photo.

Leander and her smaller sisters all had stern anchor hatches fitted, unusual on canoe sterned yachts. On one of them we used the anchor wash pump also as the saltwater Jacuzzi pump, having to open the hatch to take a Spa.

    Because it is your boat?!:)

Many thanks for your great coverage! Man I am sorry for your camera.

"Sofia III" is such a great looking boat... but where is her yellow submarine I am shure I have seen it on her bathing platform on sea trials in Holland before!

    The last ones

Bartender and her full breed racing yacht reunited. I talked to crew members of bartender today. They really like the quality of there boat and the handling of the long list of warranty items by the yard (turkish build boat).

    Second boat, Feadship Samadhi.

Sorry for the quality. When I passed one of the bigger yachts in Palma yesterday, my bosun and I were hit by some kind of a laser beam. The sensor of my camera got irreparable damaged. May be, they thought, I am a Paparazzi. I know, which boat it was and the police and my lawyers have taken care of that matter.

Sacrifices have to be made. (Otto Lilienthal):D

They say, you may pick your nose; but not your neighbors. You seem to have a nefarious neighbor lurking in the Marina neighborhood.

    The pics are appreciated.

Perhaps if you were wearing one of these, a nefarious neighbor would think twice.

P.S.- Hope the replacement does an equal job. Looking forward to some pics from your Great Loop expedition/exploration.

    Great pictures... thanks for posting.

Too bad about the camera... mine is usually fumbled onto the concrete or over the side in the drink! Computers too... brand new MacBook Pro is now battle worn and needed some "file work to take the rough edges off"!

At least you have someone else to blame... lasers are dangerous and can injure the eye... most used to be limited to 5mW and could still injure... but now with the Chinese imports 50-200-500mW are common... and very dangerous... famous case in Belgium with a concert and several people's sight injured by laser pointers in the audience of 200mW. If you can see the laser in the bright daylight as you were in too dangerous to be pointing at people.

Always enjoy your posts on the technical side of things... Bon Voyage!
