    Port Adriano

Somehow I was dragged again to Port Adriano (Coffee at Sansibar). The last boats from the Port Adriano Super Yacht Week (last weekend) are leaving. Going back to normal traffic here.

Few examples of life in Port Adriano. RoMa waiting for charter guests, Blue Eyes and Amevi still around, La Mirage leaving the harbour, Rasselas entering port and the water jet flyer trying to impress spectators and one picture of one unknown vintage yacht from Palma, all pictures from today. (Personal optained pictures)

I just cannot marvel at how "Amevi" has a 60-meter yacht look so small!

Saw this beauty on the way home today, at Cala Fornells. I could not zoom in enough, to read her name.

The CRN yacht Jade was blaring my eyes at Puerto Portals Nous today. Does anyone know, how this stern platform / garage / beach club or whatever it is, works on this boat?

They have a very strange refueling procedure here at Portals Nous. Every 990 €, the fuel pump stops and has to be reseted by the man in charge of the refueling station. And every 8000 €, you have to pay at his desk. On bigger boats that takes for ever. Thank god, the big boys are not refueling here.

First of all thank you for these great photos! I think she is a nice design.

Regarding her stern set up... the layout suggests that is a 'simple' fold down transom door and the space behind it is used as a beach club.
Way more interesting is the tender docking station at the side, it is incorporated beautifully .
She is the successor to the 54m CRN "Maraya" and provides a VERY similar interior.
    Megayacht Superyacht CRN

However I hope you enjoy your vacations and keep the photos coming they are highly appreciated! :)

    Edit:

I felt compelled to change my previous comment about the above pictured boat.

All that I will say is that she is not the prettiest girl in the playground.

Hello Fish, thats why I said, she was blaring my eyes.:)

I am not on vacation in Mallorca. I partially live down here. I did not know, such small boats are of any interest.:D

Eminence is in Palma. I have to take the tender to get some pictures of her. It looks like, she is at Astilleros de Mallorca for cosmetics or maintenance.

Here are some more from Port Adriano, AlumerciA (never seen before), Moonen Alaska, BvB Valquez, still for sale, Blue Eyes and the last one, a beauty from Portals, I could not figure, to much glare:)

Her tender is a nice little riva.

The design of "Jade" is a little to agressive for me.

The new "boat international" has a special on her.

What a surprise to see a floodable tender dock in such relatively small yacht for such feature! That's a first! I had only seen it in yachts 80+ meters (Pegasus V, Octopus, suposedly Serene, etc)

Some more info from Port Adriano

As more boats leaving Port Adriano, there is more room for better pictures.

1.) A boat, my son called UFO (unpossible floating object). It is an older Horizon Elegance Dynasty 105. A style, we used to call in Europe: Asian Baroque. As the buyers taste may have changed during time, this boat is maintained very well and in excellent condition. So, if you are planning to travel only during night, that is your boat.:D I did not make a picture of the brown one in the foreground, it was much worse.

2.) SY Alcanara, a visitor from down under, a 2008 (95,5 feet) SE Ward & Co. build, Dubois / Roades Young Design. Very nice boat.

    3. and 4.) MY Natalia, looks like a Palmer Johnson.

5.) Feadship Rasselas taking bunker. This boat is a typical example of a high quality northern european build boat with timeless design and perfect maintenance and care. Even at a closer look, it seems to be almost new. And it has a very diligent crew.

I like the underfloor bunker system for fuel, fresh water and waste water (return) at Port Adriano. Each berth has an underground connection point for service. Only a normal car with a little pump and hose trailor is needed for all these services. A modern harbour with state of the art equipment. To bad, the Stark Pier is stagnating due to the crisis. Part of the shops are unused, some brokers and dealers advertising their appearance, cancelled or delayed the opening of their offices. One management official told me, he is expecting a time frame of up to 8 years for the full developement of Port Adriano. Gentleman, if you are looking for a berth from 15 to 80 meters in the Med, this is the place to be.

    A few more

As AMEVI is gone, a better look at RoMa.

There are two features on RoMa which are worth mentioning. First the unusual stern platform setup. Before closing the platform, the watertide lazarette door has to be locked, the handrails and the two lower steps of the stairs have to be lowered, in order to give room for the movement of the plattform. The hinches hold the platform, turn the platform and are moving her in and out. When the platform is closed and locked, the boat has a completely closed and flush stern. A complicated system.

Second, RoMa has a large RIP tender, which follows the yacht or is towed on longer trips. Is this not unusual for a large 60+ meter yacht????. In the internal tender garage, she carries a Castoldi RIP tender and a collection of toys.

    Some more from Mallorca

We are taking a boat tour around the island. Tonight we are at the Port of Alcudia. I know, one day, Carl will demote me back to lurker status, because of posting all this beauties, but a boat is a boat, as special it may be. YF mods may move the worst examples to the rogues thread.:)

1.) GRP fast boat with surface drives, name: Kereon. Type, I can not recall.

2.) Name: Phantom. It looks like a boat from Kaiser Werft, Germany. Interesting point, the boat is arrested, all doors are sealed of with official seals and the boat is tied to the pier with an electronic black box. If that boat is under control of a liqidator, it must be a real adventure buying it. A beauty, directly from haven.

3.) Baltic Sea, Russian owned Bandido 95. It is actually the last Bandido (from Jade Yachts) delivered by Drettmann, as far as I know. The boat is still under production at Jade Yachts in Taiwan. It is now called Jade 95. Besides its compact proportions, a very sturdy and seaworthy yacht. I have been on several of this Bandidos, build by Jade Yachts. Great quality, top class build in equipment and great craftsmanship. If you like that design and you are able to organize the build supervision in the yard, you will get a great boat.

    Circumnavigator

Passed this one today in the Bay of Pollenca. It looks like an American Nordhavn 46 on anker, with the starboard paravan deployed. But flying proudly her Stars and Stripes. Thats what I call true cirumnavigating.

    More from Mallorca

1.) One more detail from RoMa. This picture shows the complicated three dimensional movement of her stern door. It looks like, they cant use the gangplank without opening the sternplatform. Not my point of view towards a practical design.

2.-4.) Why worry, a 43 meter Baglietto, nice looking yacht.
