    Looks like an interesting design based on the teaser. I'm a bug fan of Eidsgaard Design. Usually it is just concepts that yards tease but as the video mentioned, it appears it will be a semi-custom project. I wonder if this will be something they might try to build on spec.

    According to an interview on SYT Blohm & Voss actually sold the first BV80 shortly after the MYS!

    For the first after her delivery almost 5 years ago "Eclipse" returned to B&V for some refit/ refurbishment works this evening.

    One megayacht website has news on the BV80, apparently in build but on spec- no buyer at this time.

    That was reported as MYS last year but I believe they said it was sold then.

    BV themselves revealed photos of the keel laying. I guess it is in build

    I am not really shure if they sold it but they already start the construction for shortening the delivery time.

    That is one of the commonly given arguments (excuse :)) for starting a spec boat. The B&V order book for yachts is not among the thickest in the industry.
