Thank you Nilo i hope so. Last night it was not to bad it has calmed down a bit but the swell is still big. It looks like we are going to have some rain and the wind is picking up again. I will be posting a few more photos later.

Here are a few more photos of stranded boats.
In photo 1 in the back ground you will see some floating moorings. There are several yacht that have sunk on various places. Last night another yacht sank.
The Harbor Master said that the expected weather forecast they got from the weather office is a force 6-9 to be expected for some time tonight.

Thanks for posting the pictures, our boat is the last picture in your first posting, at least with your pictures we had an idea what was going on.

    Thank you

No Problem Robin 56. I am sorry for your loss. If i am correct your boat (Fairline) was on the swinging mooring. This storm was a big one. We had a gale force warning last night and it hit us again at 01:10am this morning. I woke up when i heard a crash. Luckily it was just the travel lift slings hitting the main structure of the travel lift. Hope that it will calm down soon.

    Nautical Darwinism?

Yeah, looks like all the metal-, and rubber-hulled craft survived, but the plastic ones suffered heavily.
King Neptune casting his vote early perhaps?
    Regrets,...
