Hmm, I thought red calipers were steel brakes and yellow calipers carbon? (Or is that only on MB/AMG?) Either way, Suzuki won this one..
On most supercars these days I think the caliper color is a customer selection. I just quickly perused the current Ferrari lineup on their site and each model comes with 3-5 options. The rotors though are a dead giveaway. That color is definitely the good $tuff.
Now how is da boy going to explain that to daddy?? I assume all are safe. Maybe just a lil zipper chafe??
That reminds me... a week or so back I was out cycling and was passed by a Mercedes AMG-GT with a license plate that read THXDAAD. I didn't get a glimpse of the driver, but I guess hard work and sacrifice is a foreign concept to some people these days. The most embarrassing thing about that plate though, is that clearly some other spoiled child got THX DAD so this Merc driver had to settle for the extra A.
Reminds me of the Yacht in Fort Lauderdale named "Lucky Sperm", same as Thanks Dad, I guess... Crazy world out there.
I never had the good fortune to put this plate on anything exotic, but my truck sported my favorite website while the front bumper displayed my favorite orientation.
That license plate design has been floating around the world for how many years now? My dad had one on his Buick back in the late 80s.

I have a strong suspicion Porsche may do other "Dakar"-esque cars soon. The first one sold enormously well, and with the time and effort they've put into developing it, it would be silly to stop with just the one release. And speaking of Porsche, the review embargos on the gloriously pure 911 S/T must have lifted last night because my Youtube homepage keeps popping up a new one every few hours. First was a German review, of which I could barely understand a word (I'm sorry to my ancestors) but this morning the first English one popped up: Please, give me a moment to collect myself...
Lucky for me allocation will prevent such car madness. I type as I sit at Porsche dealership undergoing routine maintenance. Stay away from the cayman gt4rs and 911 gt3rs in the floor…
