This looks like a 6 cyl series 1 as it has the smaller bonnet opening and the turn signal above the bumper but it has flared arches and a wider track like the series 3 That Impala has been in the body shop for longer than my E. It belong to the owners

Independent rear suspension with INBOARD DICSC brakes back in 1961? Nobody can beat that! How many cars ever had inboard disk brakes?? Heck, until recently most "sports" (LOL) cars on this side of the pond still had solid rear axles and drum brakes !!! Hmmm... And these haunches / hips!!! Far more curvy than Marylin
