Welcome to yachtforums Michael! :) Moon Goddess is indeed a beautiful yacht. I even like the color! But a boat that big that runs that fast should have a black hull and deck.

As to the power is it 7500 total or two motors that make 7500hp each? Why not a turbine in the middle? If the boat can run 50mph I see no reason it couldn't run 60+ with a turbine. How much fuel tankage does it have? :D

    Thanks catmando.

I also like the black coloured motor yachts. That said - dark colours will certainly not go well with the carbon fibre sandwich construction on Moon Goddess due to the heat build-up the colour will create. But by using another core material this can be changed if someone want a black yacht.

    It's 7500 hp total.

Gas turbine... well we have obviously thought about it and it's on the drawing table. You are absolutely right about the speed - we are looking at something at 65+ knots.

What you should have in mind is that this yacht is very low noise at full speed compared to other yachts running 45 knots with a gas turbine – both inside and outside the yacht. This is actually one of the best features about this yacht. Also you should consider how often you will run a yacht at 65 knots, because this really not comfortable unless there are absolutely no waves.

Fuel capacity is around 18 tonnes.
