    8mm. It worked great. We were out in the Exumas for 7 weeks, anchored out 6 weeks or so... pretty much moving every day. The snuber never jammed and really worked out.

    Hey Pascal! Very cool snubber pendant. Mantus makes great products. I have been using their second generation M2 chain hook and it is the best that I have found after being disappointed like you have by many other chain hooks over the years. The Mantus hook releases very quickly, and has never come off the chain. I substituted their duplex shackle for a Dyneema soft shackle.

    My only concern with the snubber pendant is that you have to bolt and unbolt the shackle every time you connect and disconnect. Seems like that would take more time than using the rubber strap on the M2 chain hook, but I guess you could just feed the entire bridle through the loop each time. What are your thoughts?

    Indeed I feed the entire line thru the eye. Only takes 15”.
