    Could be a very old ad. If the boat has been sitting in a yard for 2 years, I can guarantee you it isn't going to be anywhere near pristine condition. Has anyone been taking care of it for the past 2 years? $20k could be reasonable or could be very unreasonable given it's condition. You really need to put eyes on the boat and see what condition it is in.

    I'd also get the cost of storage nailed down, per day/month what ever. Letting it sit can add up big time ,especially if you don't have the paper work for the original agreement and have a less than honest person to deal with.

    I'm trying to get to France asap to check condition. Will ask my mother in law about yard costs.
