new roamer owner hi just purchased a 1965 33ft roamer, we moved up from a 25ft 1985 chris craft and we love her!
Tip Toe Quite a step up. Now, about those toe rails: TipToe Yes that means you, and your boat loving gang (them or the local marina monkees). Cheers! -Eric
Thank you! We are the third generation to own this boat and have made some minor changes to her. I need to update my photos and will post them soon.
Black Ruby "Black Ruby" an aluminum hull 1968 46' Riviera which resides at St Paul Yacht Club in Minnesota.
Black Ruby Thanks! We have had her 5 season's now. Previous owner changed out the 427's or 454's to 3208 CAT's which give her great power and good fuel economy. The interior needs remodeling, mostly original. Since I've owned her I made a new African mahogany swim platform and flybridge helm. This year I want to re-do the main helm in mahogany as well. Then we need to tackle the interior, which I am looking forward to.
Nice Offshore! Hi Liz, Thanks for adding your Roamer! I see you hail from Clayton 1000 isles. How I miss that area, the St. Lawrence. Homer's Roamer was from Niagara Falls and then spent several summers in Alexandria Bay at Bonnie Castle. I wish I could take a boat trip there, but Homer's Roamer is on the Chesapeake Bay now.... I actually prefer the 1000 Islands. I know where every rock is, since I hit most of them as a kid in a speedboat. Too bad more Roamers are not up there hitting rocks... Roamers are great for removing shoals and expanding navigable waterways Homer
Just purchased 1964 38' Commodore. Going to enjoy her some this season while we start work, will put together a plan as we go.
Funny you should ask, I'm trying to find out myself. I bought the boat in July and have a few questions for which I'm waiting for answers from the previous owner. I'm new at this and have a lot to learn.
