A 78 meter yacht with a blue hull and no name yet was launched at A&R some days ago.

    Sorry K!W!.

I personally think she is the best looking of the sisters, exterior styling wise. The mast design is different and nice, window placements and shapes are different, obviously the blue hull colour and curvy accents on the superstructure...incorporated nicely, a nice change from the darts or arrow heads.

True, both stunning yachts, but I think he is referring to the photo which looks like Excellence V which can be seen in previous posts.

    Hi,

That may be the case but as he provided a link with Bannenburg in the URL and they have only been involved with the two boats I mentioned I would be surprised if their name was linked to the newest Excellence as that is a new design from Abeking and the styling has been done by Reymond Langton. The two behind this Co were heavily involved in earlier Excellence Vessels when they worked for another design house.

It may be a link to Bannenberg and Rowell but the design could very well be by Reymond Langton in the photo. As far as I am aware (at least in somewhat recent times), Bannenberg and Rowell have only done interior design for Abeking Rasmussen projects.

The yacht I mentioned looks really similar to Excellence IV , but I doubt that she is Excellence IV , there are too different things.
On eatch designer site is picture/redering of a Yacht they have designed, so I am shure that Bannenberg&Rowels designed the Yacht.
Maybe the Yacht is only a design project for the PR.

I had another look at Abekings website, it could be E V or it might be a concept if it is the white one that shows up on the Abeking/BBR Link.

    Hi,

Not sure where you have been for the last 10 years but this info is not correct.

Excellence III is Hull No 6430 and was delivered in 2001. (This information is available on the A and R website.)

The new Excellence which is coming will have a Hull No more than 50 numbers different to the previous one. Meaning that A and R have delivered some 50 odd vessels in the last 10 yrs, not all were yachts but all were well built high quality vessels.

    Hi,

Sea Ray, You originally posted that Abeking would deliver 2 x 78m yachts in 2011. I know that one has been launched and done it's first run in the river but do not know where the info comes from that a second one will be delivered in 2011.

That is the information I was querying in my reply to your post.

Hey, sorry I don't remeber where I found the information, but your are in the buisness and always well informed, so I am shure that the information were wrong.
