Also the ease of maintenance on an outboard is just easy compared to an inboard with a blower, turbo etc etc. You can swap out a motor in one day without taking the boat apart. Try to do that with any inboard. And you learn what turn key really means. Park it for 2 months and turn the key and go. That is impossible on the inboard smokers.
