I'm pretty sure Floscan went out of business at the end of last year.

I assume that all this analysis concludes that the most reliable and accurate is the old fashioned Flow Scan solution for 71's AND 92's?

I am still going forward with the Maretron install, but I just got into the water. Once systems are all up, plan to baseline the new 4 blade props RPMS before I make changes to my fuel system which I’ll do as time allows.

That's where I'm at as well. Launching next week, once I get the spring stuff done ilI' move on to the maretron install. Realistically imI mid season before completion.

They have them with bigger ports but i'm not sure they will read at low speeds. I'm starting to work on this project for 6v92's. I hope your system works. Anxious to see your outcome. Did you change out the tank sensors to their pressure sensors?

System installed and running, I spent $2800 with all components, hoses and nema 2k cables and so far impressive running off my Garmin 7212’s. The system sees 1.3 to 1.5 gallons per hour At idle and increases higher as tested ran at dock so far. Overall, it was an easy install...just lengthy because of the preparations needed for where to locate the devices, how to route hoses and running the cabling for the systems. 47D6F7CA-E237-4BFC-9EE4-6522C0497CC8.jpeg

    That's great news.
I still haven't gotten back to mine.
Perhaps your success will be what I needed to move forward with this.

They work great, once they were set up I've not had any issues. Customer service at Maretron was awesome!

Thats awesome, i am very tempted
Even though my fuel burn estimates based on the DD fuel burn graphs seem to be very accurate
This system will take any guess work out of the equation

Must have clean flow of fuel without air bubbles or air locks in the fuel route. Grit, grime, air can throw off the readings. After my rebuild the system needed to run for about an hour before the readings dialed back into logic. Like anything you need to learn the error percentage for any vessel. Best way, stuff the fuel, make a long run, stuff the fuel, compare. Keep the logs. Pretty reliable.

No issues at WOT...the orifice of the JIC connectors lines used on the return side was similar to the stock discharge elbow with the restriction.

The Maretron parts I used was 2 m2ar flow sensors with fm100 monitor per engine and used j2k200 gateway to program it all with their techs help.

On last boat I installed flow scans- very reliable, but older technology. They need careful calibration vs these maretron once set up for the engine, (they come already calibrated from the factory) are very accurate-
