For 14yrs we have owned a beautiful, mint condition 1963 34ft Chris Connie that has served us very well. However, I have always loved the pilot house style of the 38ft Offshore Roamers and the large aft cabin. Good chance that by the spring of 2015 we'll be looking for a different boat and the Offshore would be on the list. If anyone has a longer term plan to sell theirs we would be interested. Our Chris had been professionally restored before we bought her and has only required mostly routine cosmetics to look after her. Our preference for the next boat would be similar, sorry, no time for project boats. bill booth 34' Chris Craft Constellation "Charmed"
2 dozen left? Not likely you will find a 50 years old rare Offshore that is not some degree of a project.
38 offshore Fair enough comment. Perhaps a clarification would help. Ten years ago I put six feet of chine in the Chris and two years ago had to replace planking around the starboard porthole. I have also removed engines for rebuild and rewired etc. I can handle routine stuff that comes up with an old boat. I just don't have time for a 'restoration'. Thanks and happy new year!

yes - it's interesting that this Offshore in WI has been for sale for over two years... I wonder what is wrong with the old girl?
there is a project one here in cincinnati with the factory fly bridge on it but your gonna have to spend alot of time getting her back up and going
I know of one that was for sale in Milwaukee last year - I wonder if it is the same one that was in Lake Geneva (listed above). Let me know if your interested, I can track it down. Nick
Apart from the hideous rod holders bolted to the side of the cabin the boat does not photograph badly so I am curious what the issue is that it has not sold especially when the engines look newer too. Rot in cabin? Big dent in one side? Razor thin bottom from years of rust... ? or all of the above!? After saying that, please don't go driving 100s of miles to look but if you're in the neighborhood and can do a little espionage that would be interesting. thanks
