One of the first Nuvolari & Lenard designs for Palmer Johnson was a 123' based on existing Intermarine hull tooling. This is PJ's "Muse"...

Built by Lyman-Morse, this was quite a "Discovery". Originally delivered as "Magpie". Exceptional woodwork in this boat.

We didn't get the name of this classic Feadship, but the stern sitting next to it could be fitting.

This photo was taken from the flybridge of a yacht along the face dock, not far from the Las Olas bridge and looking south. Sea Bowld's pilothouse stands out like a bomb shelter at peace rally.

The docks were bustling on Friday with people walking from one air-conditioned spot to another. Everyone agreed global warming was real. This is why you must buy a boat! Land will continue to subside as the poles melt. ;)

And the man behind them, Mike Joyce; one of the good guys who would give you the shirt off his back... or his sneakers!

Most of Friday was spent at press conferences and meetings, leaving little time to board boats. By 5:00 PM, most of us were beat from the heat, so we headed to the annual Dockwise party to re-hydrate. Later that evening, Lurssen had their annual Breman Brothers Beach Bash, held at Birch State Park. Although we had tickets, we returned to our hotel room to begin processing images and writing captions to go live Saturday morning. Will post again soonest, but hitting the docks today. Thanks to everyone for following along!

Getting back to boats, on this mysterious day we saw the Bannenberg designed, Oceanfast built "Mystique" slipping quietly by the FLIBS flotilla.

And yet another visit by a ghost, this is the only Westbay monster we've ever seen. Maybe one or two of these big boats were built? This one is named "Renaissance", which is our hope for the Westbay Sonship yard.

Too many boats and not enough babes? We've got your fix. Say hello to the curvy-gender goblins from Sunseeker.

Madeline's models are a good reflection on any boat, but few can compare to Sycara reflecting off Odessa; the two grand dames of the docks this year.

A fitting end to Halloween at FLIBS, the clouds aligned and painted an amber ship's bow over the show. Good night all!
