   I'm pretty sure riser is a boat manufacturer issue, not MTU. The exhaust elbows on M91s tend to crack anytime without warning and start losing water specially under pressure. You can still navigate at lower RPMs and avoid adding water, but it's advisable to replace them with the reinforced type and restore the full performance and solve the issue for good.
