Most Sportfish do not anchor, as in ever. I would go with a mix of chain and rope because you don't want too much weight in the bow generally....
You can always charter a yacht in the Pacific. If you only have the time for a week or two a year, it makes a heck of a lot more economic sense....
Yes, last boat I had awlgripped with Awlcraft 2000 was with a very well established, well regarded yard in Fort Lauderdale, was a 62' Predator...
Prestige is another thought the 50' Flybridge has 3 liveable staterooms plus crew and has a useless washer/dryer and I think a central vac also.
Or just buy a boat first, so you actually have one, so you can actually do anything at all! :D
Sunseeker would be my choice in that size. But keep in mind, the washer/dryer you find on even a 66' Manhattan is a total POS. You can fit 2 XL...
For just the hull? Here in Fort Lauderdale the going rate is about $400' for just the hull. The rubrail up is where it gets expensive.
He's talking 40-45' on that size on a yacht you can forget about having a washer and dryer, and a central vac......space is precious and those...
NO, the OP asked about pods in post #7. And, he's asking about advice on a flybridge MOTORYACHT.
The 130' is a nice size where you can still dock at many marina's if you wish. The 164' precludes that and you're stuck on anchor and dealing...
I disagree with Olderboater on this one a bit, he doesn't have a lot of first hand experience with pods. I've put thousands and thousands of miles...

Cabo 40' or even the 43' FB, the 40' would be my first choice but very outside of your price range. Don't worry about MAN maintenance, it really...
I see it on the large Simrad plotters and also on Garmins. The pre-loaded garmin charts on the garmin chart plotters are my favorite though. On...
I still see major navigational issues with electronic chartplotters. There are many places where the chartplotter is so skewed in one direction...
Awlcraft 2000 from Awlgrip. It never requires waxing, just wash with the Awlwash soap. It's easily repairable and holds it's color. I had a...
95' is one hell of a large yacht for an owner-operator to operate. I would hope you plan on at least employing a full time mate/engineer and a...
And a lot of non but good WM stores will have 24 volt items. Basically just about any 1988 or newer 45'+ yacht will all use 24 volt equipment.
Napa has tons of that type of stuff in their catalog. You're talking about 2 different things. I just simply mentioned that Napa has the 12v-24v...
Yeah they sell parallel solenoids also to join two 32 volt banks together for starting purposes. Here's a place that sells all sorts of 32 volt...
