Have seen where Viking built a couple boats with lift to the flybridge for a yachter who was wheel chair bound. Was in one issue of their company...

The CATs are at least a foot shorter then the DD's. The old engine mount holes are filled with resin. I like being able to sit on the stringers...
Our 43 has about 3" thick acoustic matting on the undeside of the hatches (look above the engines), and thick acoustic batting on boards mounted...

Measured rudder, Buck now Hydrosearch rudder fits exact measurements. PN 10R40SS1.5 Ordered from Deep Blue, had in stock.
I would think rudder trailing edge would cut line before bent 1-1/2" dia shaft but who knows??
I ordered the new rudder. The elimination of schedule risk and my worrying about it all winter won out. The boat is blocked at a typical height,...
It's an interesting dilema. They will be unable to do anything with the rudder until spring as there is no access to the boat with the travel...

The photo is prior to completing purchase. They had no anti-fouling on them at that time. I havn't seen the bottom since I had new bottom paint...
