Boy is that true ...the marina I'm in is a OA dealer some seein' some of the stuff they've done to those boat to commission them there's no way...

still why would you go against a known misuse of the hard top, C/L raise 6", weight on top and sight aft blocked. I wouldn't recommend it, IMO but...
I too get up on mt hard top to work on radar, change lights and clean it , but if the top says no load on it why would you store something on that...
now that put the nail in with one hit...
I 've tired to fine a new one too for about 3 yrs. and there's none that are going to match, best bet is to get one that hides under the platform.
what RPM are you hit at W.O.T. I'd think you'd be in the high 20's for speed and hitting 4200 RPM . My 3607 hits 28 knots at 4200 with 22x21 props...

K1W1, is right S/S hates to be heated and cooled in cycles and custom made elbows or new ones then add drains to them

3M 4000/4200 will work fine, 5200 is over used for this type app. and 4000 won't yellow in the sun...
I have the install paper work for my hard top and it said NOT USE FOR STORAGE ....but as we all know folks have, I've seen a few 3607's with dinks...
my 3607 best runs on plane at 16/17 knots 3200 rpm..
was the hull coat with a epoxy paint ? It might be worth the money to sand her down fix and then epoxy the bottom...

and a new stair/ladder to the platform is going to be cheap ? And as for the pups, my two CKCS don't like the 1st dink ride of the season...But...
