As for the tube type tv's I replaced all of mine with led. I bought mounts that install on the side of the opening and position the tv over this...
I know the earlier 5.9 had a problem with an exhaust elbow. You might research that.
Very easy. Turn on pump and follow the sound. You can always hear them. Every carver I've owned has had the water pump in the engine room though....
When I bought my first Deisel boat I asked the cummins dealer. He said if they are taken care of they souls go 4 to 6 thousand hours.
I've had 2 sets of Cummins. 5.9 and 8.3. Awesome engines but they do smoke. A part of life. As long as it quits at warm up, you are fine. 3100 rpm...
Experience and knowledge is the key. The boat will be fine. You will have to pick your days with your boat, as will I. The diesels will help a lot.
I didn't realize it was diesel. That makes it much better. I had a 355 with cummins and loved it. Fast and fuel efficient. For a boat. We did get...
I believe an inverter is the best thing you can install on a boat. Understand, to do it right it will cost you $2000 to $3000. You will need 4...
The 3807 is a great boat. You will love it.
The inverter is the best thing I install on the boat. I've put them on every one I buy. Plenty of room under the sink. I remove the stove to chech...

Unless they changed it the next year, my 97 had 4 batteries and after tracing out the wireing, it is not how you would think. 2 of the batteries...
Has to be bad batteries.
Awesome boat. I love the 444. An beautiful 396 made a little better.
I know 2 good boat stretchers. The best is called a savings account. The other is called a bank. Very effective but can drain option 1.
Thanks. I'll check that out. I'm tired of replacing wood floors on boats.
The floor looks great. Is that wood or something else. That's my next project. The power went out last year and the fridge thawed out and buckled...
Boy the memories.been through all of that with the 355. Carver was pricy in the panels but at least they will still make them. They are a great...
We were supposed to get that but lucked out. Only 1/4 inch of ice and 2 inches of snow here. The boat got more but it is fine too.
If you look in the hall between the 2 staterooms on the roof you will see an access panel. It is velcroed on. Pull it down and there is a relay...
