  1. A close-in view of the Guest cabins illustrates the fine-grained, soft-polished teak woodwork, as well as its comfortable upholstery. Each cabin has a walk-in wardrobe, weather-resistant furnishings, blend-in air vents and hidden speakers.
  2. Nearly identical to the master head, the guest facilities are surprisingly spacious for a 54-foot boat.
  3. When was the last time you saw a black bilge? When the hull is built from carbon fiber and saving weight is a priority, then it's best to leave it unfinished. The engine compartment is accessed from an Insta-Trim, electro-hydraulic hatch in the aftdeck that not only grants fast access, but quickly evacuate heat in case of repair. Volvo Penta's IPS system makes for a space saving solution to marine propulsion. Beyond the given maneuverability of pod drives, these systems are easy to install and simple to service. This powerful trio responds as a concerto to electronic instructions from the wheelhouse and that game-changing joystick.
  4. No question, naval architect Lars Modin has dreamed up and produced -- with Delta Powerboats and Volvo Penta -- a Swedish beauty to be proud of, proving a good design cross-platforms a wide range of lengths. While boat design and function can often be regional, the Delta 54 IPS is not only poised to take on the northern seas, but go to battle in the global marketplace.

The Delta 54 just might be a modern day Viking ship.

  5. DETAILS

Just how big is the Delta 54? Shown here, in a fabled Swedish Viking port -- Stockholm -- she dwarfs the docks. The smaller boat at end of the dock is called a Roslagen 25. It's a little bigger than a Delta 25.
  6. For a size comparison, the boat nudging its bow to the left of this frame is the Delta 29-footer. Big brother takes the entire end of the face dock!
  7. Good design isn't limited to aesthetics. Here, Lars has integrated the ship's anchor into the forepeak of the bow, leaving an unobstructed path to hoist the anchor, even at severe rode angles.
  8. A signature Lars Modin design is this simple and effective bollard with end points that rise to greet a line, making conventional flat cleats look lazy.
  9. Looks like the rear-view mirror from the average Ski-Nautique, right? Nope, this is the Delta 54 at cruise speed. I wide, flat table with minimum wake.
  10. Aft deck seats feature flip-top lids with storage for lines & fenders. The aft rails are removable for an infinity effect at rest.
  11. Can a picture make you feel cold...?
