  1. This is nice! A seperate and complete office for engine room and onboard system monitoring. Clearly, Amels has learned from decades of yacht building, that close attention must be paid to support and maintenance of a vessel. Larissa provides outstanding accomodations for her crew, but equally important... facilities for maintenance, diagnostics and engineering.
  2. Schematics are prominently displayed as you enter the engine room. With the kind of plumbing logistics that make up this room, it's best to have a quick reference reminder to greet you as you enter.
  3. Aft, on the lower deck, is the fully equipped engine room for the two MTU 12V 2000 M70s, which at a cruising speed of 12 knots, gives her a cruise range of 4,000 nm. Further plus features include the walk-in generator room, a shore power room, and a special room for the switchboard.
  4. Audio-Video Command Center - ENOUGH SAID!
  5. To sum up, Larissa is Amels’ second successful project with the renowned Donald Starkey Design. At 49.30m (162ft) she is a very roomy yacht. Her clean exterior lines are designed to allow use of the maximum superstructure volume yet maintain her overall balance. The extra volume allows space for crew workshops and safety lockers, all efficiently designed with essential technical systems for fuel, lubricants, and waste, organized around ‘work stations’ for service and maintenance of related functions.

The crew is able to perform the highest degree of operating efficiency with essential technical systems for fuel, lubricants, and waste, all organized around “work stations” with related functions in close proximity for servicing and maintenance. All of which adds up to an undeniable, elemental fact:

Larissa, the Amels Princess, is not simply lovely to look at, but delightful as only a fully functional luxury yacht can be. She is the young and perfect princess in Amels’ world of luxury yachts. All Holland should be proud!
