Review: Abeking & Rasmussen 98-meter superyacht 'Aviva'

  1. Running Gear: Although Aviva has conventional shaft drives, the props are recessed in specially shaped tunnels. This feature allows for larger, slower turning props, all for improved efficiency and minimizing prop noise. It also allows for the shallowest draft (12’) with the largest props.
  2. M/Y Aviva exceeded the owner’s rigid expectations. Aviva has proven herself to be an innovative, high-speed oceangoing displacement yacht. One of Aviva's greatest advantages is that she is spectacularly beautiful, but also because Brendon O'Sullivan stayed onboard and sailed Aviva as Chief Engineer, just like every yacht project he's completed.
