No, it can't. It doesn't have the range. Now perhaps a custom you can get good range but still nothing like a WP 130. You're not going to top 1500 nm, much less 2500 or more.

They can do 1500 NM at 10-12 knots, many of them. Towing it is an option, or the SF just doing it's own route to get from point A to Point B and meeting the yacht there.

I think the fast boat would only be used for East coast work, New England especially. We plan to spend lots of time around Maine in the summer.

Yeah, it's kinda one of those weight things. Fuel weighs. You wanna go fast, your gotta carry less fuel, gas it up more often.
    .
Way back when, I was the engineer on a 115' go fast, 32-34 top speed light, 24-27 cruise. We carried approx 1 days fuel at cruise speed. Our trips were based around fuel stops.
And yes, I had that boat from Maine to the mid Carib.

If your going to be in Maine in the summer, I doubt you will use the speed that much with all the fog up that way.

    And lobster pots, lol.
Ever see what a 5lb wooden lobster pot float does to a hull at 30+ knts? or prop/shaft?

Now that I took a minute to look at a AB 140, 3 diesel waterjets with a 3'11" draft, I defiantly see what attracted you to her now & where the get up and go comes from.

We're just going for a 116' now, but who knows what may lurk in the future.
