Anyone own any Exotic cars?

The more letters and numbers appended to any Porsche model designation, the higher the price for each individual component and subsequent repair.

Perhaps a Carrera T - just one letter - would be the daily driver to aspire to. Not so limited that I'd feel bad putting mileage, wear, and tear on it.

• Update or replace maintenance items based on inspection
• Replace engine air intake filters (GT3 RS)

Add the following maintenance items to the annual service, based on the time or mileage intervals shown below:

Additional Maintenance Every 12K or 2 years:

• Replace Spark Plugs
• Replace brake fluid
• Replace cabin pollen filter
• Replace cabin pre-filter element
• Replace engine air intake filters

Additional Maintenance Every 24K or 4 Years:

• Replace drive belt

Additional Maintenance Every 48K or 6 years:

• Replace PDK clutch fluid
• Clean throttle body

Additional Maintenance Every 96K or 12 years:

• Replace manual transmission fluid
• Replace PDK transmission oil

anddddddd carbon ceramic breaks 27.000$ That's why I use Fiat 500e daily.

That's a fairly normal maintenance schedule... just too bad the parts and service costs are inflated by the brand logo.

I'm happy with the Toyobaru twin... 1/10th the cost, 9/10th's the fun.

Conditions were pretty slick... the RS owner didn't actually take it out on track. Having looped the BRZ alarmingly close to a guardrail before lunch, I can't say that I blamed him.

Speaking of exotics and classics… anyone going to Fuelfed Cars n Coffee this Sunday in FTL? We re planning on going with the E-type which we just drove almost 3000 miles tru TN, VA and NC. I may keep the bugs on the windshield just for kicks

lol we ended up not going because it was just too early in the morning coming out of Miami….

for the last 10 years or so we ve been going up to NC and TN every October to enjoy not just the foliage but also the roads. So many great roads up there! Sofl sucks…

we live it so much that we bought some land in TN off Watts Bar Lake which is part of the Tennessee river…. It ready to retire yet but when we do we can just drive the hatteras up there and keep on boating !

I could never even imagine buying a Porsche and then parking it in what amounts to a private museum. A 918 Spyder with the Weissach package... and just 12 miles. Booring. Imagine owning that car (or anything else from that collection) and never experiencing what it was designed to do?

It almost hurts me.

I watched a YouTube by the L.A. dude, Magnus I believe, touring The White Collection. I wonder how hurt he was as he seems to be a fan of driving. Not much patina comes from sitting in a collection, eh?
