While returning from a sortie, M/V INNISFAIL was outbound on the Ortega river today.

El Presidente used to spend some time in Annapolis. It's there that I met Capt. Bob in the early-mid 1990s.
He was on board for a few years, did you know him?

He used to hang out in Davis' Pub in Eastport. Was a friend/drinking buddy of Lee Troutner, owner of Davis'. Until "the incident"

One weekend Capt. had a date. Since he had no car, he borrowed Lee's Mercedes and took his date to Baltimore.
About 3 days later Bob shows up at the bar. Without the car.
He got so wasted he forgot where he left it!
It was over a month before B'more police called Lee to tell him they found his car.:D

Capt B was pretty much persona non grata thereafter.

Does anyone remember the Capt before Bob? His name was Denny and the paint and varnish guy was Lefty...he only had one arm, ( guess which one? ) no kidding these are real guys. The mate's name was Nem..this is late 80's into early 90's and when the boat was tied up at Annapolis Yacht basin in the summer, and Old Port Cove in the winter.
