  1. 86.7-meter 'Colosseum' Superyacht Designed For OceAnco
A brand new design hase come on the radar and penned for custom Dutch superyacht builder OceAnco. The 86.7-meter 'Colosseum' superyacht design was drawn by Team For Design designer Enrico Gobbi. The five-level yacht is envisioned to have accommodations for up to fourteen guests in seven expansive and luxurious suites. The breakdown is one full beam master suite, two VIP-grade suites and four double cabins. There is accommodation for an extensive crew count numbering up to 28.
  2. Colosseum's tender garage is large enough to host two large tenders, a sports guest type in the 11-meter range and an obligatory 10.5-meter limousine. How fast is Colosseum? With twin MTU 20V 4000 M73Ls she should be able to go very close to 19-knots flat out but until that is confirmed we will stick with 18.5-knots. Naturally a yacht of the scale will have large enough tanks to allow her to be a comfortable Trans-Atlantic crosser.
  3. Arriving in style? That's definitely a possibility for Colosseum as she has a helipad on the bow waiting to perch a reasonably sized bird. This vessel is designed with a number of features to enhance the experience for guests onboard. If you are up high on the sundeck, you have a built-in pool nestled under the hard top. Aquarium-like pools are prominent features onboard Colosseum no less than three separate places to splash.
  4. Looking at the surroundings on the sundeck, there is ample lounging and sunbed space; truly a relaxing paradise, plus the highest deck grants full privacy for sun worshipers. Whether you soak in the pool or take in the rays, the area can be transformed with awnings for those who don't want the blistering torrent of a full-zenith sun.
  5. Top-level guests or those lucky enough to have the VIPs or master suite will enjoy fold-down balconies off their rooms; a great amenity to have when at anchor in a bay or cove. Another feature is the glass-rimmed main pool situated on the aft main deck overlooking the transom. It's large and situated in a prime spot onboard so when at anchor you can have your dip in privacy because of its relatively high positioning on the transom. Not only is it a work of ingenuity but also a work of art, incorporating glass as part of the structural functionality.
  6. Below the owner's exclusive deck is a more guest friendly deck where the evenings will come alive with fine dining al-fresco style! There is a customized dining table large enough to seat Colosseum's full guest complement of fourteen. No need for extra chairs or ottomans to add extra seating space at the table, this yacht is large and so are many of her features. Twin seating areas to the aft of the deck follow the curvature of the railings and again provide enough space to seat all of the yacht's guests if necessary. Loosely placed small cocktail tables are never far to serve your evening sipping habits.
  7. It appears the owner will have an entire deck for themselves; the uppermost deck below the sundeck. Panoramic windows enclose a wonderful space for palatial living. Forward is a private haven complete with a jacuzzi, again with a glass enclosure to keep the theme going as seen on the other pools. The area is fitted out with plush and large individual outdoor furniture pieces for the owner to kick-back and relax and there are sunbeds flanking the jacuzzi to give additional options for outdoor relaxation. The area is sure to come alive at night with large hurricane lanterns offering soft and flickering glow while setting a romantic evening ablaze.
  8. The interior follows a similar colour and tone scheme as many of the exterior spaces provide. Significant use of whites and subdued tones are contrasted with dark veneers -wenge'-. The light tones mix well with the light blue/green accents in the throw cushions and other pieces to also provide a form of subtle contrast that works well with the interior concept chosen.
  9. Below the main pool on the lower deck is a wellness region that is also fitted with a gym area and sauna! Waterline living has always been inviting on this superyacht. The gym and sauna areas all have external views to the water thanks to the slitted windows incorporated into the design keeping you connected to the water and the outside world even as you work up a sweat.
  10. How could you not love the new Colosseum concept designed by Team For Design; exclusively for OceAnco? Packed with gorgeous features from a plumb bow to her wide curving aft decks reminiscent of a Roman Amphitheater and hence the project name; Colosseum. As we descend the dual aft stairs to the swim platform to board the tender to head back to shore, we hope you enjoyed this feature of the latest OceAnco project Colosseum.
