The ketch-rigged super-sailing yacht will be a significant launch for Perini Navi as she will be among their largest (second largest) sailboats launched by them in a while. Hakvoort 61-meter Project 'Golden Age' Progressing Well
Dutch builder Hakvoort Yachts is working on its largest build to date, the 61-meter superyacht called 'Golden Age'. The yacht will be a land-mark build for this Netherland's based company. Sinot Yacht Design have taken care of the exterior design as well as the interior onboard Project Golden Age while Diana Yacht Design is the Naval Architect. The four deck yacht boasts a number of highlights for the owner and their guests. The owner is benefiting by having an entire deck for themselves on the upper deck. They get a 180-degree panoramic view from the wrap-around glazing at the fore. They also have plush seating and relaxing area on deck with a jacuzzi on the fore deck just forward of their master suite. The next lavish suite onboard is the VIP suite and that is on the main deck. OceAnco; Vitruvius Yachts Partner on 105-meter Superyacht PYC 'Pure'
OceAnco has collaborated with Vitruvius Yachts to unveil a large 105-meter superyacht. The vessel boasts Naval Architecture by Philippe Briand and it naturally sits at the top of the Vitruvius line that started out with a 50-meter hull "Exuma", then the 73-meter "Grace E". The PYC 'Pure' as it is called is now the largest Vitruvius yacht designed and runs over four internal decks with a comfortable sundeck and shaded mid-sections. She has been designed with the new PYC laws that came into effect last year for yachts carrying between twelve and thirty-six guests. PYC Pure will however, carry up to twenty-four guests. Basaran Yard Building 42.55-meter Motoryacht Project "Pttara"
Another Turkey-based yard is currently building a luxury motoryacht. This one however, does not have an owner as yet. Currently for sale, the 42.55-meter Project "Pttara" is moving well through the construction phase. When completed, Pttara will be able to host her guests in five cabins throughout. The design of the yacht is by Serhat Yinanc and presents a bigger-yacht feel while keeping a relatively small footprint allowing the prospective owner to utilize the yacht in shallow coves and bays of the Mediterranean or the Caribbean. It is anticipated that she will have marine diesels that allow her to run up to 16-knots and cruise at 13-knots. Fincantieri Delivers 140-meter Superyacht "Ocean Victory"
Italian large custom superyacht manufacturer Fincantieri Yachts announced the delivery of their second superyacht, the confidential 140-meter "Ocean Victory". She was built under project name Victory at the Muggiano shipyard. Boasting a design by Espen Oeino she appears somewhat similar to the yard's first build, the 134-meter "Serene". The 2014, built superyacht has an impressive length of approximately 460-feet and an overall beam of 62-feet. The interior appears to be a collaboration between Laura Sessa and Alberto Pinto. The 8,000 tonne hull 6218 has a number of high-end features as is expected onboard a vessel of this size. 39-meter Perini Navi Philippe Briand Designed Performance Sloop
Famed Italian specialists of personal blue-water sailing yachts Perini Navi has unveiled more information about the sister-yacht to the 2008-launched "P2". Firstly, P2 is 38-meters LOA, the Philippe Briand sistership seems to have grown an extra meter and now is 39-meters. She will exhibit similar high-performance characteristics as the P2. The build number of the new vessel is C.2130 and her progress in construction is going well. Launching of this yacht is expected to be in mid-2015. Secondly, Briand sculpted the overall figure more in comparison to P2. For example, the superstructure which is essentially the roof of the saloon has more style to its design. Hatteras Delivers Second 100RPH Motoryacht
American yard Hatteras has successfully delivered their second 102-foot Raised Pilot House Motoryacht. The first hull was delivered last year and bares the name "Mr. Loui". The 100RPH series is moving along as a couple more hulls in the line have been sold this year including hull's three and four. The layouts onboard are actually customizable to the owner and thus each hull will be a bit different on the interior from the other. Benetti Launches 50-meter Superyacht "Vica"
At the end of October, Italian manufacturer Benetti Yachts launched hull #801, a 50-meter motor yacht called "Vica" She boasts an interesting arrangement in her primary build materials. The hull is made of fiberglass while the superstructure is made of aluminum. Vica is now the first vessel to kick-off the 800 series by Benetti. She spreads over four decks, lower, main, upper and sundeck. A nice feature is a a large jacuzzi on the forward upper deck. Additionally there is a touch and-go helipad located on top the bridge-roof with access to the pad directly from the forward sundeck. Palmer Johnson Delivers 48-meter SuperSport "Khalilah"
"Khalilah" is the name of Palmer Johnson's latest delivery and she is the first unit in the brand new PJ SuperSport Series. Palmer Johnson continues the trend of launching the first hull of a new series in a gold-like paint theme. If you cast your mind back to the first PJ150 you would remember that the first unit in that series was gold painted and interestingly called "O'Khalila". The SuperSport is a new series from the American yacht manufacturer taking in the extensive use of Carbon fiber in the yacht's build. Italian builder Ferretti Yachts is now showing off one of their latest models, the Custom Line 108-foot motoryacht. The yacht features up-to-date styling and sporty edges to her lines. Kleven Yachts Sign Order For 116-meter Expedition Yacht
A couple months ago YachtForums alerted you to Kleven Yachts in Norway launching a large 107-meter expedition yacht, hull #366. This yacht is expected to be delivered to her owner in the Spring of 2015. That same owner has placed another order for another expedition-styled superyacht from Kleven Yachts, this time a 116-meter platform. The superyacht will be similar looking to her slightly smaller launched sister with launching envisioned for July 2016. The 116-meter expedition yacht will feature six internal decks above the waterline and carry an array of tenders and toys. There is to be provision for a helicopter via a helipad located aft on the upper bridge deck. Heysea Yachts Sign Contract for 40-meter Catamaran
Chinese yacht building manufacturer Heysea Yachts announce that it has signed a new contract for a 40-meter catamaran platform. The contract signing happened in October 2014 and is expected that the yacht will be delivered in approximately two years, October 2016. It appears as though the hulls will be built from steel while the superstructure is to be fashioned from composite materials. She will be 40-meters LOA and have a beam of 12-meters or nearly 40-feet overall. The draft will be just 2.30-meters at full load. The yacht will take on a three-deck arrangement, lower, main and upper internal decks. There is access to an open-air sun deck great for the new owner. Performance wise she will feature two Volvo engines, at 725-horsepower each with the ability to run up to 15-knots...

She is good-looking in a sleek and slim package. These adjectives describe the latest design by Italian designer Federico Fiorentino. The new design is a 50-meter superyacht called 'The Belafonte" and overall she is a pleasing package designed around a 50-meter platform. She will be utilizing a fast displacement hull to help her achieve faster speeds. Depending on the engine set chosen the top speed will vary but between 18-24-knots. This 23.5-meter motoryacht bears design by Nick Mezas and has a streamlined let slender cross-section. Westport Yachts Introduce 125-foot RPH Motoryacht
American builder Westport Yachts has finally given new breathe to owners of 112's that wanted to step-up in size slightly. They are introducing a new model called the Westport 125 but it isn't a true tri-deck yacht. The Westport 125 allows owners accustomed to the 112 model to step up to the new model without having to go to the Westport 130, which is a tri deck yacht. The 125' is quite similar to the 130-footer in size offering that big-boat beam of nearly 8-meters and still a slim draft under 2-meters. The trick is that she is a raised-pilot house design allowing them to keep two whole decks only, the lower and main deck. The pocket-yacht company Gamma Yachts has delivered the third Gamma 22-meter motoryacht "Libertas" to her owner. She is perhaps one of the more famous yachts because of who her owner is. Admiral Yachts Unveil 145-meter Superyacht Design 'X-Force'
Italian builder Admiral Yachts recently unveiled the design for a large superyacht, one with an LOA of 145-meters. The project has gained deep development and while still a concept can be built once a buyer is found. For those of you who were present at the 2014 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) back in September, there was a model of this project on display. The interior design is by Dobroserdov Design with interior concept by GMC; Gian Marco Campino. Project 'X-Force' appears to be a six-deck superyacht (above the waterline) and puts heavy emphasis on the utilization of glass. Open deck space is also provided and in any-case would not be a problem on a nearly 480-foot superyacht. Main features include two helipads for large helicopter, one of which has a hangar.
