Heesen Yachts Delivers 55-meter Fast Displacement "Azamanta"
Heesen Yachts has announced their new 55-meter Fast Displacement hull "Azamanta" just finished intensive sea trials in the North Sea. Azamanta, whose Fast Displacement Hull Form was developed by Van Oossanenin in collaboration with Heesen Yachts in-house naval architects, exceeded the contractual speed by 0.4 knots, reaching a top speed of 16.9 knots. Propelling around 600 tonnes of steel and aluminum at 15 knots with only 1650kW of power, the yacht has proved to be a benchmark in terms of efficiency. The bold exterior design by Omega Architects is characterized by chiseled, sharp lines. Nordhavn has delivered another expedition yacht and this time it's a member of the N76 line. Christened "Sweet Hope 2", this N76 is the 21st hull to be handed over by Nordhavn. This model line is available in a hull length of 72 feet or 76 feet and with a "pilot house aft" or "pilot house forward" deck configuration.
