Federico Fiorentino Designed 56-meter Expedition "Queequeg"
Following in the footsteps of the Extraordinary League lines of "Belafonte" previously featured on YachtForums, Federico Fiorentino has sketched out yet another category-busting design; a futuristic 56-meter Expedition Yacht with a military overtone. This 177-foot expedition yacht features a foam green hull and dark gray superstructure that looks more like a military cruiser than an exploration vessel. The bow is reminiscent of Princess Mariana (now Pegasus V) with a reversed toe-rail element that reminds us of the latest series of Bering Yachts...

A Look At The New Hatteras 70 MY
Hatteras had a 70-foot model before, years ago but they now have an all-new 70-footer sleek and sexy motoryacht in this size category. The yacht comes in under the new 80MY as well as the 100MY being a distinct appeal to owners who will want a luxury yacht to cruise around in for a day or weekend but not necessarily a true live-aboard individual. Now the Hatteras 70 isn't exactly 70-feet as the model name would suggest, she actually comes in at 74.6-feet LOA. A decent beam overall of 21.2-feet suffices and a rather slim draft of just 4.6-feet as expected round out the main dimensional specs...

The client's main wishes are more living space whilst retaining access to the current navigating area. It has been decided to include 2 master bedrooms, each with its own shower and toilet. The living space is divided over 3 sections. A spacious open cockpit on the same level as the wheelhouse...

Zuccon International 50-meter Explorer for CRN Yachts
A recurrent element in Studio Zuccon International Project’s design work, the theme of timeless go-anywhere design is back again in the new Teseo project, a 50 metre Expedition yacht designed exclusively for the CRN shipyard. Reinterpreting the stylistic features and content historically associated with Expedition Yachts in a contemporary light, Teseo is a product for long sailing trips in all seas and weather conditions. The product we now call an 'Expedition Yacht' is currently very popular, and a lot of shipyards which have in the past had a very different idea of 'sailing' have decided to invest in this form of typological experimentation for a number of reasons, one of the most important of which is response to the increasingly frequent demands of a market oriented toward reducing consumption and therefore costs in order to enjoy life at sea in the 'healthiest' possible way...
