N76 Hull 21 "Sweet Hope 2" Delivered to Owners
Nordhavn has delivered another expedition yacht and this time it's a member of the N76 line. Christened "Sweet Hope 2", this N76 is the 21st hull to be handed over by Nordhavn. This model line is available in a hull length of 72 feet or 76 feet and with a "pilot house aft" or "pilot house forward" deck configuration. Sweet Hope II is what is referred to as a "pilot house forward" configuration on the 76 foot hull. Only one other N76 has been built with the pilot house forward configuration. The salon area has been designed and built as a "wide body". The owner of Sweet Hope II has moved up to his new boat from a Nordhavn 64 which was also a forward pilot house design. Numarine Delivers Sixth 102RPH Yacht
The sixth hull in the Numarine 102 Raised Pilot House (RPH) series has been launched and completed already. This series has progressed decently since the first hull launched back in 2007. A look at the most recent, hull number 6, one can see a few differences. In fact, the latest hull has been restyled compared to the others in this line. The windows on the hull is perhaps the biggest differentiating feature anyone will notice right away. There is also a hardtop now shielding the open deck totally resculpted and a welcomed addition. Selene Yachts Launch First Selene 92 Model
Coming in at just under 100-feet, the Selene Yachts 92 model has been started with the launching of the first hull. Jet-Tern marine, who is the builder for Selene Yachs launched the first hull in the 92-foot explorer line. With that happening, she now assumes flagship status in the Selene fleet. The 92-foot explorer was constructed in composite materials and boasts design lines inside and out by Guido de Groot. She is powered by a pair of CAT C-12 660 horse power marine diesels. Dutch builder Holland Jachtbouw has launched their latest creation. She is called "Topaz", the J-Class yacht previously referred to as 'J8'. First Nautor Swan 115 Flagship Launches Today (June 16)
Today has marked the launching of the new flagship for the Nautor Swan line, the Swan 115. The staging for this monumental event is at the company's Pietarsaari-based facility in Finland. UK yacht manufacturer Sunseeker Yachts is currently working on a new model, the Sunseeker 131. They are also excited to announce that the first four units in the new range have been sold already. The Sunseeker 131 mirrors the design of the 40-meter Sunseeker model but with upgraded styling and of course, interior. Dutch yacht designer Guido de Groot recently unveiled a 45-meter triple-deck motoryacht design. The new design is penned in an interesting market segment where many potential owners would feel comfortable with a 38-meter plus yacht but still one sub 50-meter as it relates not just with size but associated costs. The design is pretty simple while offering ample glazing to assist the onboard living experience. DreamLine is about to launch their latest yacht and what will represent their largest hull to-date at 34-meters LOA. The yacht follows on from the success of their last model launched, a 26-meter which was completed in 2014. The yacht's very active design comes via Enrico Gobbi of Team 4 Design. The interior is also from this design firm. Based on what we saw on the DL26M, the interior should be quite nice on the new flagship too.
