90-meter Superyacht "Lionheart" Launches At Benetti
Italian yard Benetti Yachts recently launched their first superyacht of 2016. The new yacht is also their largest build representing a 90-meter superyacht built for a repeat client of the yard. Her name is "Lionheart" and those of us who follow these yachts very closely would know who she belongs to. However, we do not disclose names here but we can tell you that she is the successor to the owner's 63-meter, 2006-built Benetti formerly of the same name. That yacht is presently called "Lioness V". As for the new yacht, she was built under hull ID FB262 and even though the identity of the yacht is well known, information about the yacht itself isnt't...
66.25-meter Superyacht "Vanish" Launched By Feadship
Days after the 66-meter superyacht "Vanish" was christened she was floated and towed out of her build shed at Feadship. Vanish has an interesting layout not only for guest accommodation but overall. All guest accommodation appears to be located on the forward end of the main deck. This gave the owner opportunity to have the mid to aft of the upper deck for themselves. On the starboard side, in the midships area there is a double-height atrium that has floating stairs with a view through the expansive glazing for guests who traverse that area. And just forward of this area is where the owners full-beam suite is. On the Starboard side, there is a slide-out balcony cleverly integrated into the superstructure. The large bed is off center on the port side of the room again with great views outward through the large window...

68-meter "Sycara V" Superyacht By Nobiskrug
"Sycara V" superyacht was built for an experienced repeat client with interesting taste. The yacht has a design by Nobiskrug and interior by Pure Detail which was done to exacting detail. The 68-meter yacht appears to be a couple meters larger than she really is, but this illusion is thanks to the clever lines Nobiskrug incorporated to keep your eye busy. The steel displacement ocean-crossing superyacht was delivered to her owner in September of 2010 and has been a fixture in marinas around the world ever since...

She has space for a couple toys too with the main tender stored in the aft garage and two PWCs cleverly hidden under the foredeck...

The design is by Focus Yacht while the quite elegant interior has been formulated by H2 Yacht design. It was fashioned to echo a New Hamptons style that was comfortable for the owner and family to enjoy. Hull 423 as she was known as at the time of construction was built with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. The hull was built at HDW –at the time- and represents a familiar hull platform. McMullen & Wing 50-meter Hull 1016 Leaves Build Shed
New Zealand based yacht builder McMullen & Wing has technically launched their latest yacht. It naturally represents their first launch for 2016 too. The yacht is a 50-meter variant of their extremely widely publicized build "Big Fish". This 50-meter has had an interesting life story already and it hasn’t even touched the water as yet. 'Big Fire' could have been her name and it would have been apt. For those who may not know, this 50-meter yacht was originally intended to be called "Star Fish" but with just half a year or so left in the construction, it caught fire at the yard severely damaging the yacht in the process. This left the yard with a lot think about in regards to the build back in 2012 but luckily in 2014, a new owner was found and thus sold to them...
German-made Nobiskrug 74-meter Superyacht "Mogambo"
German builder Nobiskrug has built several yachts to-date and one of their builds sails around with the name "Mogambo". This yacht is a slight evolution of the "Triple Seven" platform and just looking at her will confirm this but she has stylistic appeal on her own too. Forget the familiar lines, her grey and white paint work is echoed on many other yachts around the world but she has a distinctive grey splash on her superstructure that no other yacht can claim and this makes her very easy to distinguish in her current state...
