Design Firm Hot Lab recently unveiled a 63-meter concept for Turkish builders Sarp Yachts. The design is a full displacement yacht called 'Aouda'. The yacht isn't just for spin and to garner conversation but it can be built with 28-months construction time being suggested. Construction would be using a steel hull and aluminium superstructure to LY3 and ABS standards. Power will come by a pair of CAT 3512C marine diesels each with around 1,500 horsepower rating. Another repeat client of the SanLorenzo yard recently saw their latest yacht leave the shed and lowered into the water for the first time. The yacht in question is the 38-meter "Y4H" and is a unit from the SD126 series. Actually she is only the second hull in the series so the new design is still fresh. The SD126 features three decks with accommodation for ten guests on the lower deck (two twins and two doubles) and a full beam master suite on the forward main deck for the owner. The main deck has a main salon and formal dining room while the upper deck showcases an additional lounge.
