FPB 78 Explorer "Grey Wolf II" Delivered
For some, she may be a candidate for the Rouges thread but her lack of style on the outside makes way for her utilitarian and no-nonsense approach to exploring missions. Her name is "Grey Wolf II" and she is the latest FPB 78 explorer yacht from Circa Marine being a sister to "Iceberg" and "Cochise". Her design comes via Steve Dashew who has been instrumental in these FPB explorer designs...

"Kalliente" Launches At Dominator Yachts
The new Dominator 27.5-meter Ilumen series is launched and called "Kalliente". The series is called Ilumen simply because of natural light-filled interiors. Naval Architecture has been kept in-house at Dominator Yachts with work done by Navalhead. Kalliente will be a sedate cruiser holding around 9,000 LT of fuel which will translate into a range of around 1,700 nautical miles at a constant 10-knots. Those twin MAN V8 1,200 HP engines can push her to a 21-knot top speed if needed. This Carbon Expoxy built yacht won't be a world cruiser on her own hull but she certainly can get you into almost any small, secluded and remote cove or bay where the water is very shallow. Atoll cruising might be very appealing with her shallow 1.6-meter draft...
