Bering 92-foot Custom Yacht Ordered
Yesterday Bering Yachts formally announced that they received an order to build a totally custom 92-foot (28-meter) yacht. The yacht is a result of the collaborative efforts between the yard and the owner. The build is set to start construction in August 2017. Once completed the yacht will be able to house eight guests comfortably in four cabins which include a master suite, two other grade cabins and a VIP grade suite.
Being a Bering which focuses on quality construction fit for exploring, the B92 won't be a speedster. She is expected to top-out at around 13-knots when needed but leisurely cruise at 11-knots. It is at around that 10 or 11-knot pace that her range should be decent. Bering suggests 3,500 nautical miles with her pair of Cummins QSL9 410 horsepower diesels. The 275,000 lbs vessel will carry around 15,000 LT of fuel...
