Second DOM133 By Baglietto Signed
Italian yard Baglietto recently signed their latest yacht which is a member of the DOM (Domus-home) line of yachts. This time it is a DOM133 which is the 40-meter variant of the line and this makes it the second one to be sold. Just recently the yard delivered the first DOM123, slightly smaller variation called "Run Away". The second DOM133 is presently under construction which means it likely started build on spec. The second hull in the new 50-meter model from Italian yard Riva has hit the water today. She is called "Fifty" and has similar paint and finish work as the first hull in the model, named "Race". The design internally and externally is by Officina Italiana Design. Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi said, "Fifty is the demonstration that we Italians know how to imagine and realize masterpieces like no one else in the world. And at this difficult time, my thanks goes to everyone whose skills and efforts have helped build this magnificent ship." 140-meter "Solaris" Launched At Lloyd Werft
The latest build to emerge from the Lloyd Werft facilities is the 140-meter "Solaris". Earlier this month there was progress on the removal of the weave of scaffolding and tenting from around the yacht suggesting the yard was preparing to launch the widely anticipated superyacht. The exact length of this large explorer yacht has been in dispute as she moved closer to launching with different sources suggesting different lengths from 137-meters even up to 145-meters. It does appear her length is closer to 140-meters.
