43 Year Old "Jagare" Returns To A&R For Yard's 117th Birthday
Abeking & Rasmussen is known for building superb luxury custom superyachts and they have a history that stretches back for over a century. In fact the yard is celebrating its 117th birthday and during this momentous occasion the 37-meter sailing yacht "Jagare" has returned to the yard of its birth. This vessel started construction back in 1981 as hull 6378 for the father of the current owner. The sailing yacht has only been a part of this particular family for the last 43 years. More announcements continue to emerge from the ongoing 2024 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). The Ferretti Group made an announcement regarding a future flagship for its Riva brand. They referred to a 70-meter hybrid superyacht that is currently in build and they also highlighted the current in-build flagship the 54 Metri. There is the existence of a 70-meter hull named Project 'Opal' being currently built. It is a collaboration between Ares Yachts and Mulder Design. First Day Of 2024 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS)
The 2024 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) got under way today (25th of September 2024) opening to patrons with dockwalking in mind or those scouting for their potential superyacht purchase. MYS typically attracts some of the largest superyachts in the world and while one or two in that category will be in the harbour docked many will be at anchor in the bay. The largest superyacht that was earmarked early for the show was to have been the brand new 122-meter Lurssen "Kismet". However, a last minute listing for the 123.2-meter Lurssen "Golden Odyssey" seen here taking a berth position next to Kismet but making her officially the largest superyacht in show for 2024...
Spring 2025 Completion For 42-meter "Wildcat"
The 42-meter sailing sloop that is currently under construction has been a long journey in the making and the vessel has not been anywhere near delivery status. Currently known as "Wildcat" the yacht started out life as the second hull in Perini Navi's e-Volution GTS series of sloops. The incomplete yacht was made in aluminum for the hull with carbon fiber elements and carbon fiber for the superstructure and Turquoise Yachts took over the build and are now build to complete for the Spring of 2025...
ADA 50Z Third Hull Technically Launched
The third unit in the ADA 50Z line of yachts has been technically launched and will continue build through the fitout phases until delivery in 2026. This one is being built under hull number NB103 with a design by Uldas Yacht Design and Naval Architecture by Ginton Naval Architects. Interior Glimpse On Atlante Classic 35
The Atlante Classic 35 is continuing construction and will be delivered to her Northern European client in 2025. The steel hull and aluminium superstructure are now joined and work can progress on the fitout of the vessel. As a reminder, the exterior as well as the interior design is by VYD Studio and Naval Architecture is by Arrabito Naval. The specimen gets its model name via exuding refined traditional lines and stretching a length of 34.5-meters. The 41-meter Abeking & Rasmussen (A&R) SWATH yacht originally delivered in 2008 as "Silver Cloud" was back at the builder in the last few years for a major refit.
