CABLEMASTER'S WIRELESS REMOTE SAVES HANDS ON DECK
After docking, a weary skipper often faces the job of hauling a heavy power cable from the boat to a pedestal. Thanks to a new Radio Remote Control for Glendinning's popular Cablemaster, the job just got a whole lot easier.
Glendinning's Cablemasters automatically extend, retract and store power cables, keeping them out of the water and the decks free. The new Radio Remote Control allows one person to effortlessly control the operation of the Cablemaster from over 100' away. The remote does not affect the operation of the Cablemaster's standard, boat-mounted control switch.
The remote system can run up to two Cablemasters. A matching receiver easily retrofits to existing units, allowing the operator to extend or retract cables with four buttons on the key fob. An optional RF Noise Filter Kit is available to extend the range of the remote and enhance system operation...

LIGHTWEIGHT DIESEL ENGINE TAKES AIM AT U.S. MARKET
Many years of marine propulsion research and development have yielded one of the lightest, most efficient diesel engines on the market. STEYR MOTORS, now establishing its distributors in the US, offers its best alternative to 8-cylinder gasoline engines-the 250-hp MO256H45.
Extended combustion research work and fine tuning has resulted in an extremely compact, "design-for-the-future" diesel engine. This rugged, 4-stroke, turbocharged and intercooled powerplant is based on the time-proven model 236. It features innovative breathing and charging systems, as well as reinforced piston and injection systems.
It is intended as a fully competitive diesel alternative, and particular attention is paid to the dynamics of acceleration. The 256 Monoblock is enhanced with Holset turbocharger technology and STEYR's powerful, 2-stage Unit Injector system to become a very competitive replacement for V-8 gasoline engines...

As with all Doggersbanks, the core design for the new Beothuk comes from the boards of Vripack International Naval Architects. Normally a Doggersbank Offshore project is finalised between the owner and Vripack, then tendered out to select yards for a bid package. Kuipers has won the contract to build a significant number of Doggersbanks Offshores in the past. In addition to the first Beothuk, other highly successful projects include the 85' Kathleen (the very first Doggersbank Offshore), the 84'Aisling, the 83' Coy-Koi and the 95'Alexa-s...

If there is one word most often used as an expression when beholding today’s yachts… it is WOW! But a simple exclamation alone cannot begin to describe Burger’s latest launch. There is fine line between creating a traditional yacht and a modern yacht, a line that Burger has blended brilliantly through the years.
A delicate disbursement of today’s technology and yesterday’s grace are among the many reasons that Burger yachts have always been a preferred choice of yachtsmen, who hold the Burger name in the greatest of esteem. This is the same reason that Burger’s command one of the highest resale values in the used market...

Yacht designer Greg Marshall, went back to the drawing board to fashion Horizon’s brand new 70 motor yacht, and in the process gave birth to a completely new concept. This is a Horizon production yacht with a custom layout – one that can readily be labeled “semi-custom.”
Horizon-70’s sleek craftsmanship displays its fine design elements, but barely hints at the volume of room supplied in this yacht. Horizon’s meticulous quality control and excellent manufacturing processes make this 70 M/Y an outstanding mid-size megayacht...

MAGMA ANNOUNCES BIGGEST GOURMET GRILL...
Magma Products' newest and largest Gourmet Grill, the Monterey, boasts 420 square inches of grilling area—large enough to provide an onboard banquet for the hungriest of crews.
The Monterey's rectangular housing/grill area features 100% mirror-polished stainless steel construction, reliable Piezo ignition, double-lined inner safety shells, front-access lock-in, and slide-out grease trays. Closely placed grill grate struts keep small items from falling through the cooking surface.
The Monterey is equipped with an oversized, hinged, balanced lid to accommodate large cuts of meat, fish or fowl, but won't accidentally slam shut when the boat rolls. A stainless steel thermometer is mounted inside the grill lid. When not in use, all of the grill's components lock securely into place.
The Monterey uses readily available 1-pound disposable propane canisters, or easily adapts to onboard LPG (propane) or CNG (natural gas) systems...

ACTUATOR PLACES A SMOOTH RIDE AT THE FINGERTIPS
Glendinning Marine Products' Smart Actuator takes the fight out of balky engine and transmission linkage systems and gives boaters complete control of speed plus forward and reverse — with a single lever.
The Smart Actuator, used with Glendinning's Model CH2001 control head, creates a smooth arc of finely controlled power, even on throttles and gears linked by inferior-quality control cables. With Glendinning's Complete Control electronic engine control system, the boater can regulate speed and direction with accuracy and ease.
The EEC system with Smart Actuator provides sensitive throttle and gear response for sidling up to a dock, towing, anchoring or slow maneuvers that require precision handling. The EEC system utilizes CANbus interface technology, which simplifies wiring and allows greater flexibility when adding control stations...

PEERLESS PORTS PROTECT IN ALL CONDITIONS
Few port windows can claim to be watertight, provide varying, measured degrees of ventilation, ease-of-use and distinctive looks. But New Found Metals' Tri-Matrix, caulkless, self-sealing ports are that and more.
Made of 316/316L stainless steel and ABS weather - resistant copolymers, the port is light weight and strong. Stainless steel bands accent the interior and exterior rings while anchoring two cam dogs and a double hinge and the main frame’s polymer has UV inhibitors which resist fading from the sun.
Tri-Matrix ports are a good alternative for the boater who dreads going to battle with a messy caulking gun to replace old, unattractive port windows. The ports' bolt-through construction is engineered for a permanent dry-fitting as the plates compress a ring of closed-cell,
silicon foam to half its thickness.
The compressed foam seals the outside edges of the port from the elements...

Few yachts are as striking to behold as Kaiserwerft’s new “Perfect Harmony”. Sporting more curves than Mulholland Drive, the latest Baron 102’ completes a trilogy of launches by Kaiserwerft, who’s previous yachts include Ocean of Love and C’est la Vie.
