Canados launches two new 86-foot yachts
The Canados 86-foot model can be hailed as one of the builder's most successful models. Not just one launch happened, another 86 is expected to launch in a few days to join the first. Both vessels feature designs externally and interally in-house at Canados.
The two vessels are similar to each other in external appeal and layout but the decor differs. The first 86-footer that was launched yesterday has maple and ash selections for the furniture while the sofas are upholstered in white leather.
The second yacht to launch will feature interior materials such as maple and wenge for the furniture, upholstered leather sofas in the living area, travertine in the bathrooms and wenge veneers in the cabins. The layout is similar to that on the first yacht...
Kusch Yachts; H2 Yacht Design present 83M 'Project Beach'
This stunning new design is a collaboration between Kusch Yachts and H2 Yacht Design. Kusch Yacht been responsible for the construction of some large yachts in the past especially recently with the "Al Mirqab" at 133-meters long. A new design at 83-meters being called 'Project Beach' tears beautifully at the visual senses.
The exterior design of Project Beach is done by H2 Yacht Design. Curvy and swooping lines overlay a conventional structure terminating to create a feast for the eyes. The design is simple yet complex offering many areas to commune with the sea.
If built, Project Beach would be done with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure to satisfy Lloyds. Additionally the 83-meter vessel would be MCA compliant with the ability to carry as many as sixteen guests...

Codecasa launches 42-meter 'Vintage' series megayacht
Italian builder Codecasa announced the launching of the first hull in the brand new 42-meter 'Vintage' series. The exterior design and Naval Architecture work has been done in-house by the Italian builder. The interior was penned by Della Role Design.
Ten guests can be hosted in her five staterooms all designed to a Vintage feel. The rest of the interior is dominated in white and washed materials contrasted with dark blues creating a sophisticated appeal. The Vintage is 42.50-meters long and showcases a near-vertical bow on the steel hull. The superstructure is of aluminum combining for a fully loaded displacement of approximately 400-tonnes.
Below decks in the enigine room sit a pair of CAT 3516Bs that will crank her to 17-knots in light displacement mode. The range is about 4,000 nautical miles at 11-knots using near 60,000 LT of fuel oil...
Baglietto 43-meter "Why Worry"
A new launch for Baglietto is coming in time for the Summer season this year. She is the 43-meter yacht to be named "Why Worry". The vessel is actually being finished at Rossi Navi's facilities in Viareggio and will be launched there. Not surprisingly, Francesco Paszkowski worked on the exterior design of this luxury yacht. On the interior, SA Aranha & Vasconselos were tasked with creating the owner's wishes.

Shadow yacht "Mystere" relaunched after extensive refit
The shadow yacht "Mystere Shadow" was relaunched after having an extensive refit. The "Mystere" was throughly refitted on the exterior and the interor. The refit work was carried out at the Monaco Marine yard in La Ciotat, France.
The Pastrovich Design Studio undertook the arduous task of restyling and design of the interior and exterior. There were some structural modifications during the refit. The stern was extended to incorporate a jacuzzi/spa on the starboard side of the extension.
The other extension can be seen directly behind the bridge in the form of what is being called a 'day lounge'. The structure is essentially a specialized bimini to fit its specific purpose. Inside the bimini, there is loosly placed furniture with grey tones over the teak colours and textures. There is also a rectangular jacuzzi to the aft of the space amping up the luxurious appeal...
CNB 43.20-meter German Frers megayacht
A motorized mega yacht design surfaces from the design boards of German Frers. Primarily known for designing sail yachts of various sizes, German Frers took on the challenge to design a 43.20-meter motor yacht for the CNB yard.
Principle dimensions and statistics read a beam of 8.50-meters, a draft in the region of 2.00-meters and displacement of just under 360,000 lbs. Envisioned to be built with an aluminum hull and composite superstructure, the top speed is said to be 28-knots using 2 x MTU 12V 4000 M93L engines.
Cruising range at 18 knots is about 1,000 nautical miles. Constantly going at 28 knots will reduce her to just under 600 nautical miles. Ten guests are slept onboard as well as a maximum of eight crew members. Some interesting highlights are in the design...
Nedship launches 41-meter megayacht "BaiaMare"
A new mega yacht was launched in the Turkish yacht building community recently. She is the 41.3-meter luxury yacht built by Nedship and christened as "BaiaMare". The composite yacht was launched a few days ago and gleams with her white superstructure and tan to champagne coloured hull.
BaiaMare is expected to have a top speed around 18 knots thanks to her dual MTU 12V 2000 M94s. Twelve guests should be comfortably hosted and slept onboard with her VIP, master and four guest cabins. The VIP is situated on the main deck while the other guest cabins are on the lower deck while the master is actually on the upper/bridge deck. BaiaMare will be completed after her finishing works sea and system trials are satisfied...
Newcuise 72-meter superyacht design
A new design emerges from Newcruise Designs showcasing a 72-meter explorer-type superyacht. The concept's displacement is dialed in at just under 1,900 tonnes with a cruising range of approximately 7,000 nautical miles solidifying her -in part- as a world cruiser.
As many as twelve guests can be slept comfortably in three guest doubles, two VIPs and a capacious master and enough for the crew of eighteen. Emphasis on the exterior relaxation and social spaces can be easily seen with the built-in comfy seating and the meticulous design of the largest superyacht pool.
Of course being an expedition/explorer yacht, it is expected that she would be able to travel the world's oceans with less problems than the usual. The pool on the aft deck is certainly the highlight with its freeform design and variable depths throughout making it usable for various age groups...
CRN launches 39.60-meter "5G" megayacht
Italian yacht builder CRN launched another composite planing mega yacht recently. She is a member of the CRN 39.60-meter 128 series that has seen a number of launches in the past. The name of the new GRP-made luxury yacht is "5G".
Like the rest of her series-mates, she is just under 130-feet long. 5G is 7.70-meters at her widest point and a full load draft of 2.40-meters. The 235-tonne yacht can accommodate up to twelve guests in comfort. 5G is powered by two MTU 12V 4000 M90 engines and is designed in and out by Zuccon International Project. Naval architecture is by CRN, she is expected to be completed this summer.

Columbus 46-meter megayacht
Another new build from the Palumbo shipyard is the Columbus 46-meter. She is a full-displacement, one-off design by Studio Spadolini. Full load displacement is approximately 400 tonnes and her maximum speed is 16 knots thanks to a pair of CAT 3508B engines. Tank capacity for fuel is estimated to be 60,000 LT with an impressive 4,000 nautical mile range at 12.5-knots. Fresh water tanks can hold up to 10,000 LT. She is to be built in steel for the hull and aluminum for the superstructure.
The interior design is dominated by browns, tans and creams creating an almost neutral effect. The interior is concentrated over three decks. On the lowest level, there is room aft for storage of the yacht's main tender and a few jet skis. Further forward is the guest accommodation with two doubles and two twins. Forward towards the bow are the mess and cabins for the crew...
Rossi Navi 45-meter megayacht
FR.024 is Rossi Navi's 45-meter vertical bow design that is currently under construction. The exterior design of this yacht is by Design Studio Spadolini with interior by the ever talented Remi Tessier. Rossi Navi remains the naval architect for the build.
FR.024 has a maximum beam of 9.20-meters and a draft in the region of 2.60-meters. She is being built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. The design speed is expected to be around 17 knots utilizing twin CAT 3508C DITA engines with an effective cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles.
Special features that the new Rossi Navi will have to boast; Green Star, Confort class PNVC unrestricted Navigation. The design brief by Spadolini has been guided by an experienced owner. Completed; "Follow Me V" megayacht
The 45-meter new hull launched by Factoria Naval Marin earlier this year is now completed. Known as hull 104 when under construction, she is now known as "Follow Me V" after christening. The new luxury yacht was designed by Reymond Langton while the interior by Studio Spadolini. Principle dimensions include 45-meter length, 8.80-meter beam. The displacement yacht is is capable of reaching 15.5-knots.
The interior substance is done with luxurious marbles and woods like Cherry to create a classic affair. The yacht's exterior is modern with angular and curving sets, thereby giving the eye a pleasing run all over the structure. Even at 45-meters, exterior space is generous. The aft decks feature space for lounger especially on the aft sun deck.
Bar seating is located under the hardtop to keep patrons cool whilst enjoying the breezes that blow onto the sun deck...

Alu Marine 58 Trawler Catamaran
Originally scheduled to be a 58', the new Alu Marine 65' will commence a new range of trawler catamarans. Construction at the Alu Marine Shipyard will start on September 2011 for delivery toward the end of 2012. Both the 58’ and 65’ trawlers were designed by Sterling Design International.
Alu Marine and SDI have succeeded in combining large living spaces, good performance, comfort accommodations and accessibility to berths. JFA delivers 43-meter "Axantha II" Expedition yacht
French company JFA completed the 43-meter "Axantha II" a few months ago after being launched in March. Axantha II has been built essentially on the original platform from 2003, "Axantha". Not surprising the new 43-meter yacht is the successor, being larger and offering more.
Axantha II was constructed under the hull number '22C'. She features a design by the experienced Vripack Naval Architects. The explorer/expedition design allows for a large and long foredeck that is dedicated to storage for two similarly sized RIB tenders both served by a crane along the centerline.
The aft placed superstructure includes the saloon and lounge areas, finely decorated showcasing dark woodwork. Below decks are three double cabins as well as another double with a pullman berth as well as the owner's stateroom...
AB Yachts launch 140' "Elizaveta" Sport Yacht
Italian builder AB Yachts have launched another express sports yacht. She is another sister yacht in the AB Yachts 140-foot series. Christened as "Elizaveta", she splashed as recent as two or so weeks ago.
This particular series of yacht is very fast especially for a 140-foot boat. The deep "V" hydrodynamics and aerodynamics coupled with some serious power below decks combine to help create the blistering performances of these yachts. Elizaveta is expected to top out at 46-knots using triple 2,400 horse power MTU engines.
Ten guests are easily accommodated in the five staterooms. The design of Elizaveta is by Marco Arnaboldi and does not depart from the exterior styling of her other two sisters. The interior isn't the only part of the yacht that is comfortable but if you can tolerate the buffeting wind at speed, sun beds await...
Leopard launches 46-meter "Tutto le Marrane" express yacht
The latest member of the Leopard 46-meter series has been launched by Leopard. The 46-meter series is still relatively new with the latest launch being the third hull to date. The latest express yacht isn't called that for nothing, with a top speed in the mid-30-knot range.
Triple MTU engines power "Tutto le Marrane" to a top speed of 35 knots. Two of the MTU engines have approximately 1,800 kW each while the center-line engine has an impressive 3,440 Kw of power, serving as the booster engine. The design of Tutto le Marrane has been done by Bacigalupo studios with interior work carried out by Cristiano Gatto.
The interior is a chic affair with varying levels of cream colours and browns utilizing the most visually sumptous materials available. As one moves from space to space aboard the colours are noticably darker still being balanced with lighter tones...
