Well noted naval architecture and yacht design firm Dubois have designed an astounding 100M long super sailing sloop. Much talk has circled around this project yet few details are available. We do know that the Project is Dubois design number 380.

Blohm & Voss unveils 88-meter superyacht concept "Ice"
Does the yacht in the rendering below look familiar? It probably does because it may resemble that of the B+V "Palladium". It is no coincidence perhaps that Michael Leach is also behind the exterior styling of the 88-meter "Ice".
At the end of July YF alerted you to the intended showcasing of the yacht at the MYS. The revealing of the superyacht concept for the 88-meter Ice was made on the start of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) at Blohm & Voss' stand. The new concept is geared to be MCA compliant and with this is expected to accommodate twelve guests in six staterooms.

Wider-Yachts present 150' project
Wider-Yachts have come to the 2011 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) with new design. After the buzz created by their transformational project, the Wider-Yachts 42-footer, a new and much larger project was envisioned.
The Wider-Yachts 150-footer is one of the latest steps forward for the company and it involves a 150-megayacht that looks little like the 42-foot yacht that brought so much attention to them. However, the company is keeping the concept of a 'wider' yacht in place with the 150-footer.
It is immediately apparent the ingenuity of the new project. On first glance the new design looks like the contemporary 150-foot megayacht. The aft end of the yacht seems to be the expanding area showing folding shell doors, opening transom, extending bathing platform all to create more room when needed. The wider concept is clear in operation in this proposal...
